So here’s how it works
First things first. There are many photographers out there, and it’s important to establish if I’m the right match for you.
A conversation over the phone will help identify what you want out of the shoot, including finding the best package for your needs. Based on our conversation, I will suggest a few locations for you to choose from. The locations I suggest will generally be outside. However, if your pet lives inside I can accommodate that too.
In terms of timing, I find it’s best to shoot either early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Some locations are best at particular times, so we will take that into account when booking. The actual shoot will take 1 – 2 hours, dependent on your choice of package and your pet’s level of comfort with the camera. I never finish a shoot without feeling we have achieved all the shots we hoped for, even if that means taking extra time. My availability for photo sessions varies, and needs to be negotiated at the time.
On location, my first priority is to spend some time with your pet, getting to know each other and ensuring they are comfortable with the camera. It’s important to me that I capture your pet’s natural expression and behaviours, so I like to work in the background before setting up any staged shots.
My sessions and pricing are set up in a module structure, allowing you to determine how much you would like to spend. The photo shoot is a standalone charge, with images selected and purchased separately. A week after the shoot your photos will be uploaded to my password protected client gallery, where you can choose images (digital and/or printed) in your own time. Your photographs will remain in the gallery for twelve months.
If you like my photographic style and think I may be the right person to capture the unique spirit of your best friend, I’d love to hear from you. Please give me a call on 0403 851 198 or contact me via my contact page.
We had a wonderful afternoon with Christine whilst she took some amazing photos of our Spoodle Toby at the beach. Christine is a true "dog whisperer" and was fantastic with Toby. Christine has an ability to get the best shots with a great background too. The resulting pictures are of a wonderful quality and clarity and really depict the personality of our treasured pet. Do yourself a favour and call Christine you wont regret it!
